Sunday Concert Series: The Ron Jones Jazz Quartet Cancelled — Barrel Tastings Instead
Turtle Run WineryThe weather today is loaded with storms of all sorts and types. If you were planning to come out for the awesome jazz, we'll still have our tents up with plenty of cover and we'll do barrel tastings inside. Perhaps we can map out some future blends!!!!! Rick and Bill, who run sound, have an exceptionally easy day with the Ron Jones Jazz Quartet. Simply put, this group should be playing nationally at the top jazz festivals. And some of them do. This is jazz at its absolute finest. Pure, clean, concise with superbly top notch musicians, the best of the best. If you are new to jazz, turned off of jazz, give this a try. Trust me. This is the longest continuous group playing at Turtle Run Winery at the longest continuous concert series at wineries in the Midwest. Something good must be going on. Our concerts are free and they are family friendly. You are welcome to bring food. We are normally selling grilled fare to benefit various programs from Special Olympics to Providence High School Swim and Dive. No other alcohol permitted. All concerts are outside. Wine tastings during concerts are outside. Wine can be purchased inside or outside. Cheese and crackers are available inside the winery. Grilled fare is sold on the east side of the winery behind the band. We have complimentary plastic cups. We sell wine glasses or you can bring your own wine glass. We suggest that you bring a lawn chair. Lastly, if you would like to borrow an ice bucket for your wine, great. We have them available, just please return them to the winery or the tent before you leave. Cheers, Laura, Jim, Max, Joe, Catherine, and our wonderful staff.
